Simpson Engineering is an independent Canadian company. It was formed in 1974 to meet the need for a flexible, efficient engineering group to provide plant and industrial engineering services where quick response and fast turnaround are essential. Since that time we have successfully completed a variety of assignments on time, and within budget.

Our scope of work has varied from the selection of a single pump to the design and installation of complete process plant, conveyor systems and automated assembly lines.

We are a flexible organization that can work independently on projects or in close co-operation with clients as an extension to their own staff.

We have experienced a steady growth in assignments by maintaining a high standard of engineering. Many of our clients have retained us for more than one project.

The principals and associates of Simpson Engineering have had major responsibility in the execution and supervision of engineering and construction for the steel, glass, food, beverage, automotive, manufacturing and petrochemical industries.

These projects range in size from one to twenty million dollars. This diversified industrial experience is well suited to the broad approach required for plant and industrial engineering projects.

The range of experience available through our principals and associates includes:

Individual disciplines can be drawn upon to meet the specific needs of any given project.

Our services are of particular interest to companies implementing projects which require a wide range of experience and skills, combined with flexibility and economy of operation.

The company makes extensive use of computers to prepare all drawings, and to carry out design analysis, project scheduling and cost control.
